What you get
Original files
We keep the file your camera produced, without re-compressing it: HEIC, JPEG, RAW and 4K video.
Encryption
Files are encrypted in transit and on disk. With end-to-end mode on, the keys stay on your devices and we cannot read them.
Resumable uploads
Uploads are split into parts. If the signal drops on the train, the app continues from the last part instead of starting over.
Free up space
Once an item is stored, the app can delete the local copy and keep a thumbnail. Tap it to download the original again.
Local search
Search by date, place or what is in the picture. Tagging runs on the device, so captions and locations stay there.
Shared albums
Share an album as a link. People open it in a browser, with no account and no app to install.
How it works

Give the app access to your photos once. It reads the library on the device and starts with the newest items.

By default on Wi-Fi and while charging. Each item is encrypted, split into parts and sent to the nearest region.

When an item is stored in two regions, the app can remove the local copy. The gallery still shows a thumbnail.

Open the web gallery or another device. Originals download when you ask for them, from the closest region.
